tried their breakfast burrito grande meal over the weekend and without reluctance, i have to give it the highest rating on here. the tortilla they wrapped my burrito in was homemade and so so good. perfectly buttery and soft, with a healthy portion of potatoes, bacon, and eggs inside. their salsa is incredible, goes perfectly well on their food. not too spicy, but definitely packs some heat with a ton of flavor to follow. did i mention how quick their service was? super friendly and efficient. this place has respectfully earned their stars from me! give it a try and support small, locally owned businesses.
Try Frech Mexican Grill for some sassy Mexican food! Eat Local. Skip those chain/franchise fast-food Mexican restaurants in Tahlequah that have the word "taco" in their name. Frech Mexican Grill has your breakfast. From healthy parfaits, smoothies, coffee drinks and fruity pancakes, to breakfast meals that you can hold in one hand. Or, take your time and sit down with a cup of coffee in front of their Delux Breakfast Plate. Frech Mexican Grill has a combo meal and a la cart options to cover your hankering for lunch or dinner. Get it to go at the drive through or dine in their sparkling clean restaurant. Frech Mexican Grill a name I never heard of. It's not a chain or franchise. This is it, the only one. Locally owned and operated. It is an unassuming inconspicuous little restaurant building on the main drag through town. I have negligently ignored it while searching for Mexican food. I just didn't expect it to be that great. I was wrong. The food is levels above fast-food Mexican restaurants. Also, I have dined at most of the Authentic Mexican restaurants in Tahlequah. Frech Mexican Grill is now my #2 choice compared to all the other options in town. Start your meal with an order of the flavorful Choriqueso dip and chips. Creamy queso with a big scoop of spicy chorizo. This stuff is spicy good! Maybe even a little sassy! I had the Carne Asada plate. A surprisingly tender, thin grilled steak with grilled onions, beans, rice and pico. Good char grill flavor on the steak. The plate of food was excellent. My wife had the Quesadilla Plate. A folded flour tortilla packed with chicken and cheese, grilled until the cheese was well melted and the tortilla was crisp and flakey on the outside. These were thick, rich and filling. She couldn't finish the meal. Check the pictures. My only critique is with the salsa. I wish they would offer a salsa bar, or at least have more salsa options. Great friendly service, Order at the counter, your food is delivered to your table. Eat here Tahlequah. Did you know? The word Frech in German means sassy. The restaurant appropriately uses a cartoon picture of a sassy looking donkey for their logo/mascot. Yeah, that is a sassy donkey (an ass.) Now if it were my business, I would have named it "The Sassy Ass Mexican Grill." But...well.... that's just how I am.

Today our lunch was served on regular dishes, not take-out containers. The ambiance is helped by the popular Mexican music playing in the background. They try to please.
